W.A.C. Art - an art group of the World Anime Club - is a group designed with the purpose of gathering artists from all over the world. Be it traditional or digital , W.A.C. Art is to help talented people get better and make friends with the same interests.
In order to make it an interesting group for everybody, the admins create different events in which all participants have the chance to win. Our group was founded not too long ago , and until now hosted 2 contests in which the participants had the opportunity to show their talent and potential.
The first event was the banner making contest. Everybody who wanted to join, had the task of creating a banner that would be placed as the cover picture of the group.The entering media could have been either traditional or digital , as long as it met the requirements imposed by the admins regarding the length and width.
For this event the winners were picked according to traditional media and digital media, resulting in 6 winners in total and 1 winner as the best banner.
The banners made were used as the cover picture, each for 1-2 weeks .
The second event hosted by the W.A.C. Art admins was the Chibi contest. Participants had the task of drawing themselves or an OC (original character) in a chibi form. In this contest, however, we had just 4 winners picked by the best work, disregarding whether the artwork was traditional or digital.
Both contests ran smoothly and all the participants seemed to enjoy them and are looking forward to more such activities.
As for the group, we can say that it's lively and everybody is enjoying it - receiving and giving help and appreciating each other.
